Normally the Toolbox shows when I am in design view, not in code view (more exactly, the toolbox has no functional items in code view; they are all in design view. That makes perfect sense.
However, the NetAdvantage item shows up only in code view, not in design view. That makes no sense. How did this happen, and how do I move it to design view where it belongs?
I'm afraid I do not understand your question. Are you referring to the Visual Studio Toolbox?
We don't have any control over when the Toolbox shows up, that's handled by Visual Studio. I imagine it's based on the contents of the tab - tabs with controls on them show up when you have a form designer open. I've never heard of the wrong tabs showing up at the wrong times.
Mike,
Yes, the Visual Studio toolbox. And your answer makes sense; it is something that Visual Studio did, not Infragistics; possibly because I had a .cs open when I originally created the tab. Anyway, I finally figured out I could delete the Infragistics tab. Then I created a new one, right clicked, and selected Choose Items.
Thanks again.
