I am setting a column style to Date in my ultraGrid. This calendar has navigate buttons by Month but not by Year. How do I have a calendar where I can easlily navigate by years instead of just months.

The default dropdown in a grid cell uses the inbox MonthCalendar control. I don't beleive that this control has any ability to show year buttons.
Depending on your operating system, you can click on the Year at the top of the control and it will either give you a popup list of years or zoom out to the months and then to the years.
