Hi,
I know that Windows 7 wasn't released yet BUT...
Which Infragistics version will be supported on Windows 7?
to be more specific, Can I use Infragistics 8.2 on Windows 7?
I know for example that Infragistics 6.2 and above suites Vista.
Do you have information regarding Windows 7?
Thanks,
Ronen
Ronen,
I am not aware of any specific version compatibility issues, nor am I aware of whether a specific version of NetAdvantage will be required in order to be supported on Windows 7. My comment was merely based on my personal experience (i.e. on my own time outside of Infragistics), and that so far I haven't experienced any problems specific to Windows 7. The version I happened to be using was 9.1, so unfortunately I can't say if you would hit any problems with 8.2; if you are encountering any issues, you should ensure that you have the latest service release.
Now that I think about it, I do recall one specific issue with the Ribbon in the UltraToolbarsManager that was addressed, specifically with the QAT rendering, but this should already be available in the service release for all supported versions.

Hi :-)
Thanks for the quick answer.
I have a follow up question. Which infragistics version are you using with Windows 7?
We are currently using infragistics 8.2. We would like to avoid (if possible!) an upgrade in this stage of the project.
Do you have details on WIndows 7 + infragistics 8.2 compatibility?
In terms of what will officially be supported on Windows 7 I am not sure, but I can tell you that on my personal time I haven't had any problems developing on the Release Candidate of Windows 7 on both my laptop and desktop; however, if you have encountered any issues we would be very interested to hear about them :-)
