Hi,
Im having trouble finding the setting for styling the form in appstylist. With the styles that come with Appstylist, this is set somehow, I just dont know where. View the attached image for what im talking about.
Thankyou in Advanced :-)
Corey
the colour im going for is a green colour, and no matter what i blend with the 3 office presets i cant get the colour im after. i know the rgb values but when blended with another colour it changes far to much. is it not possible to create your own preset instead of being limited to the 3 office colours and blending?
Cheers
When I run AppStylist and go to the Ribbon tab, I can mouse over the area under the menus and I get the RoleTips no problem. If that's not working for you, then something is wrong.
I'm not sure why you are having so much trouble here. Maybe I'm not clear on what you are trying to do.
What do you mean you say you can't get the blend you want?
oh, also you dont get any roles or popup when rolling over the top part of the menu :-(
the area in the first and second image are related, and in the samples these are set pretty well, i looked at what you mentioned but i cant get the blend i want, so can i somehow add to the colour scheme? in addition to the 3 office colours?
Now I'm really confused. :)
Your original question about the form borders makes sense, since there's no preview of this in AppStylist - I can see why this might be hard to find.
The area you are pointing to in this screen shot, though, is very easy to find. Just go to the ribbon tab in AppStylist and mouse over it and you will get the Role Tips. Press the number one on your keyboard and it will take you right to that role.
Perhaps wha tyou want is to change the Office2007 color sceheme. You do this in the "Style Library Properties" window. This window is, by default, docked on the right-hand side of the AppStylist application. It's collapsed by default, so it just shows up as a little tab in the upper-right hand corner. Here you can choose one of the standard Office2007 coor schemes - blue, black, or silver. And you can also apply a color blend to create a custom scheme.
