How to show always merged cell value?

Is it possible to set grid merging in that way to show always merged value (eg on the top)

Look at sample pic -> you can see merged column "Initial" and value "AL".

But if user scrolls down grid one row "AL" value disappears - user can see only merged background, and only one way to see what is merged cell value is scroll it up.

Ii would be great to set grids in that way to always see merged cell value (eg on the top or - better middle of merged area)
