Y Axis Autoscale not updating with Constant Y Value

I have the Y axis set to smart auto-scaling, where X is a time series.  When the only datapoints I get ever for the chart are all 0s for Y value with increasing times, I see no line, nor does the Y axis update at all.  

How do I workaround this?

    I think this may have been fixed recently.  Have you tested using the latest available hotfix?
