Thanks Mike, well, I was doing this. I figured out that it was a different problem. I was making the active row selected in the onAfterRowActivate event. This was causing the issue. Now, I have a different problem at hand. I'm not sure if this is possible with infragistics grid. We are trying to imitate outlook right click on a any message. What happens in outlook is that a border appears on the right clicked row and the selected row remains as it is. The pic below might explain well. I want to implement this. The problem I'm facing is unless I make the current row(right clicked) as active, I wont get the border around the row. What this is also doing is changing the back color as well which makes the user feel as if its selected. Please advice. thanks, Kiran
