UltraWinGrid: how to make group-by entries not to be collapsed

Hi,

Am working with UltraGrid, when using the group by option it shows collapsed lines of data.

I want the data to be shown expended, i can't seem to find where to define it, can you guys help?

It should be there. If you select the grid in the designer and go to the Properties window. You can drill down to DisplayLayout -> Override -> GroupByRowInitialExpansionState

IGDrewS, thanx - this helped - but why doesn't this apear in the grid's properties (right click on the grid and properties) page?

I can get to ultraGrid1 -> DisplayLayout but no "Override" here, if i access it from the code it is available.

Am i missing something?

set the GroupByRowInitialExpansionState to Expanded. grid.DisplayLayout.Override.GroupByRowInitialExpansionState = GroupByRowInitialExpansionState.Expanded;
