I installed the 2021.1 Winforms Infragistics UI and NuGet packages this morning. After creating a new C# .NET .50 solution using the C# Windows Forms App template in Visual Studio 2019 version 16.10, I attempted to add the Infragistics.WinForms NuGet package (12.1.24) to the project and received the first error shown below. After closing the NuGet Package Manager, I attempted to open the default Form1.cs file in design mode and received the second error shown below. My development environment includes Windows 10, version 20H2, and version 5.0.300 of the .NET 5.0 x64 SDK.
Are there additional and/or newer components, or versions of Visual Studio, I need to install? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can you help me for this issue
Hello John,
I am happy to hear that you got the controls all set up and ready to go.
As per my previous reply, we are working to have the issue resolved, so please check for updates regularly on our website about this issue.
The fix will surely make it into the next service release, however should you look to use the new version of VS sooner, we can provide you with a link to a private build before that.
Thank you for using Infragistics components.
Sincerely,

Tihomir,
Thanks for your very prompt reply. I had some problems installing the 16.9.5 version of Visual Studio, but was able to successfully install the 16.9.4 build.
Using the 16.9.4 version, I was able to add the 2021.1 NuGet packages to test VS solution without a problem, and was then able to drag and drop controls on to a form in Design mode. Within minutes I had an UltraGrid displaying data from a SQL Server database.
Exciting stuff! Thanks again for your suggestion.
John
Hello,
Thank you for posting on our forums.
The mentioned exception is exclusive for Visual Studio 16.10, as it was a big update which hit right after the release of Infragistics Winforms 21.1.
We are currently working on a fix for this, and will provide you with one as soon as it is ready.
Meanwhile, if you can use VS 16.9.4 // 16.9.5 there will be no issues.
Please excuse us for the inconvenience.
