how to be trained on AppStylist
posted

 Hi,

I'm a web graphic designer totaly inexperienced in .NET and Windows Forms. I have to create an interface in only one month with AppStylist v 8.1 for Windows Forms. I've no idea how to do that, I don't understand how UI roles or component roles work. They're not intuitive at all. How can I be rapidly trained?

Thanks for your help.

     Hi,

AppStylist doesn't actually create a user interface. It allows you to style an existing interface, applying images, colors, fonts, etc. to an application. I'm pretty sure there are tutorials included in the help that should help you learn how it works.

The easiest way to style a real application is to have the application developer add an AppStylistRunTime to it and display this at run-time. This allows you to run the actual applciation and style the UI in place.
