(If there's a better place to post this message, can the mods please move it? I did not see any forum section which deals with VS integration)
First of all, THANK YOU for getting 20.1 released!
Now for the issue I'm having: I have installed 3 VS versions: 2017, 2019, and 2019 Preview. All three are updated to most recent versions through the VS Installer.
When I run the 20.1 Infragistics installer, it installs the menu elements (check for updates, version utility, etc) for 2017 and 2019 Preview, but not 2019. The installer does not let me know what VS versions it detected, it only let me select "VS Integration", which I check off.
For what it's worth, the 20.1 Toolbox items DO get added to 2019.
I've re-run the Infragistics installer, but no help, VS2019 gets ignored. My guess is that the fact I have VS2019 Preview installed causes VS2019 to get ignored, but I don't know if that's the cause.
Can you guys help with this?
Thank you, Divya, I really appreciate you looking into this so quickly.
Hello Gabriel,
Thank you for the update. I am able to reproduce the issue with multiple instances of visual studio2019, for my testing I had VS Enterprise 2019 and VS Community 2019 installed on my machine and when I run the 20.1 installer , extension been installed on the community but not on the enterprise.
I logged a development issue in our internal system with dev id 270182, I created a private case for you (CAS-206935-R2R8S8) and link the development issue with that. This way you will be notified automatically when the dev issue is updated or resolves.
You can access this private case from your Infragistics account support activity page.
