When the form loads the UltraTabbedMdiManager tabs for a split second start at the top of the form with form borders and then are shifted down about an inch after the tool bar loads that is docked at the top. Is there a way to suspend layout or reserve space for controls that are not loaded yet?

The best way for us to assist you is if you provide a small, isolated sample that we can run and use for debugging locally.
