This post is 10 years old, and I'm still now sure what the question is or which control it's talking about. Can you please be specific about which control(s) you are using and what button you are referring to? 

I too have the same problem. there is a close (x) button on the top right of my menu. I want to disable this. Please could you also tell me how i can open the menu once it has been closed.
