Hi-
Is there a way to allow words with special characters to NOT be flagged as errors when spellchecking text?
I have added the word te$t to my custom dictionary file and set the 'IncludeUserDictionaryInSuggestions' spellchecker option to true. However, the spellchecker will flag the first part of the word te as an error and make suggestions to correct that part. Since I've added the word to the dictionary I'd want it to be ignored. Is this possible?
Thanks,
I have enlisted myself for these new courses. They have the best and experienced staff to show the understudies, as well as understudies, can check https://www.essaywritinglab.co.uk/write-my-essay/ online to finish their homework easily. The courses they are setting up for the understudies are truly useful for them. So don't botch the opportunity and get this chance everybody.
Hello Jim,
Thank you for your feedback.
Yes my answer is related to UltraSpellChecker component in Windows Forms, as this is Windows Forms section of the forum.
If you need information regarding WebSpellChecker you may check http://help.infragistics.com/doc/ASPNET/2014.2/CLR4.0/?page=Web_WebSpellChecker.html or post your questions here http://es.infragistics.com/community/forums/119.aspx.
Thank you for using Infragistics Controls
That's the winform control?
I'm using the WebSpellChecker, same behavior with this?
Thank you for posting in our forum.
Infragistics UltraSpellChecker do supports apostrophes’ recognition. However you may need to add some of the unrecognized words in your custom dictionary. Please check the attached sample project where UltraSpellChecker recognizes words as schoolboy’s, monster’s and o’clock but does note recognizes words as chair’s and school’s.
Thank you for contacting Infragistics.
Out customer just wants it to recognize apostrophes in words but it seems to complain. Any way around that specifically?
