Hi,
The Y axis labels on bar charts by default come horizontally so I set the label orientation angle to 90 degrees. But this clips the axis labels. I don't mean the trailing characters getting clipped, that is fine. The attached image will illustrate what I mean, the label "Farmers" is not legible even though there is enough space to its lef. Can you help me fix this?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Laxman,
You would need to increase the amount of space reserved for the Y axis labels. To do this, set the extent property on the Y axis to 50 or a higher value if you still require more space.
Thanks, by fixing the y axis extent without any label orientation angle the chart looks fine.
P.S.: But with the label orientation angle set to 90 degrees even though there is enough gap before the y axis the label is still clipped as shown in the previously attached image.
Hello,
I have created support ticket in our system, in order to track this issue. Case id is CAS-124324-P2R4C8, so I will update you for the progress of this issue as soon as I have more information for you.
Thank you for using Infragistics Components.
This issue is resolved in our recently published 13.2 release. The only problem is that fixing this issue involved a number of breaking changes and as such, we couldn't have it fixed in 13.1. So, if it's possible for you to upgrade to 13.2, that's great. This way you can take advantage of many new features we have added. If it's not an option for you to upgrade, we will try to implement a limited version of the fix in 13.1. Let us know what you think.
Thanks.
