Hi,
We are using Infragistics ultrawebgrid v9.1. This Grid and the DataTable bound to it is Dynamic. I have a Amount Column in this Grid which has a thousand separator (##,###,###.##). I want to enable sorting in this grid on amount field on double click event of Grid Header. When I double click the amount column in Header, the values in grid are only sorted based on the 1st charater. I want the complete value to be considered while sorting.
Please help. Thank you.

The amount sorting should be possible in 9.1, however please note that since 9.1 a number of issues regarding sorting have been resolved. For these reasons I would recommend you to consider upgrading.
I would suggest you to try the different sorting modes - client-side and server-side, to check whether that makes a difference. In order to provide more feedback I would need to know which build in 9.1 you are using. A working sample illustrating the behavior would also be greatly appreciated and will allow me to study the issue in more detail.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Hi Peter,
Thanks a lot.
i am using 'NetAdvantage_ASPNET_20091' Is the amount sorting not possible in this version and i have to migrtate Infragistics version to sort the amount column.
Is there any option?
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
I have tested your scenario using version 11.1 and the sorting of a column with a data format seems to be operating correctly. Please note that version 9.1 is no longer supported and since its release there have been a number of issues resolved regarding sorting formatting columns. Therefore upgrading your product version should resolve the matter.
