DataFormatString change on edited cell

Currently using version 14.1.20141.2150 of the Infragistics for ASP.NET 2014 Volume 1 product.

On a cellediting enabled webdatagrid I have formatted some integer datafields (We use the dot "." as thousand separator). But when the value in the cell is changed/edited, the formatting seems to be removed(appears a comma "," as thousand separator)........Why this happens?
