I would like to use the appstylist in a new development, however I have the following problems:
1. The Appstylist will run and I can save a style library, but how do I use it? The video on this site shows setting up a project using an infragistics appstylist template, however on my VS2008 it does not appear.
2. If I try to open the application styling configuration from VS2008 I get the error "There is no NetAdvantage version 8.1 installed on this computer" but there is as I am using them in the solution and they are referenced.
The following files are installed in the VS2008 add in folder, plus a few jpg images
Application Styling Configuration AddIn.htmInfragistics2.Web.ApplicationStylingConfiguration.v8.1.dllInfragistics35.Web.ApplicationStylingConfiguration.AddIn
Sorry for the issues this has caused. We don't keep all volumes of the documentation online, and 8.1 has been removed, causing the the link to break. The link below should work, and not break as it's volume indepedent.
http://help.infragistics.com/NetAdvantage/ASPNET/Current/CLR3.5/?page=Web_Enabling_Application_Styling_at_Run_Time.html
your link is invalid..

Thanks, I have now got it working by uninstalling all versions of Infragistics, i.e. CLR2 and CLR3.5 and just re-installing CLR2.
Can I still have both installed? Will it break again if I re-install 3.5?
I'm not sure what might be wrong with the Application Styling Plugin, you might report that to Developer Support. You can also manually configure your project to use your Style Library using one topics available in the help.
Hope that helps.
