CSS Documentation & Unwanted Space

I'm a noob.  I have added a WebDropDown to my page without applying any formatting.  The code is:

                <ig:WebDropDown ID="QuickLinks" runat="server" Width="200px" ToolTip="Jump quickly to a Manchester web page.">
                    <Items>
                        <ig:DropDownItem NavigateUrl="http://its.manchester.edu" Selected="False" Target="_blank" Text="ITS" Value="">
                        </ig:DropDownItem>
                        <ig:DropDownItem NavigateUrl="http://espn.go.com" Selected="False" Target="_blank" Text="ESPN" Value="">
                        </ig:DropDownItem>
                    </Items>
                </ig:WebDropDown>

This is what the drop down list looks like when run in any browser.

Here's the only applied CSS to the page.

This is for .NET 4.5 and with 2013.1.

How do I get rid of the spacing at the bottom?  Is there good documentation on the CSS behind Infragistics controls?

Thanks,
Michael
