Hi Team Infragistics,

I am evaluating ASP.NET version 2012.2.

I have a website with ASP.NET v2009.2. Is it possible to use the tool Version Upgrade Utility for migrating to ASP.NET version 2012.2?

Thanks in advance for the information they can provide me

    Hello Esteban,

    The Version Upgrade Utility will change the version numbers in your project to the new version 2012.2.  However, it will not upgrade retired controls.

    For example, if you are using WebGrid, it will have to manually updated to WebDataGrid, as the WebGrid is no longer distributed.

    If you're not using any of the retired controls, the Version Upgrade Utility will work as you expect.

    I'd recommend looking at the breaking changes list since 2009.2 to make sure nothing else will be affected.
