WHDG: horizontal scroll bar problem in IE9
posted

Hallo,

I have an WHDG with more than fourty columns and row selection active.

When I scroll to view last column and click on a row to select it, the horizontal scrollbar moves at beginning on the left and I lose visibility on my last columns on the right.

This behavior appear only with IE9. With Firefox and Chrome horizontal scrollbar does'nt move when I select a row, correctly.

Why can I do?

I'm using version 11.1 (last service release).

Thanks

    Hello maxanziutti

Thank you for posting in our forum.

In IE whenever an element is focused, the browser will try to scroll its top into view of whatever scrollable area it is in.  You need to enable the activation behavior. When its disabled in ie9 on click the browser will set the focus on the container grid which will  cause the scrollbars to move like this. When you enable the activation behavior the focus will be set to the cell so the scrollbars will stay in place.

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns regarding this.
