How would I go about upgrading this to the new grid type?

Hi Aaron,
The way that I would go with this upgrade would be, first define what features you have implemented in the old grid, map them to the new grid and then implement them one by one. I highly recommend checking out the Grids cheat sheet at : http://es.infragistics.com/community/blogs/craig_shoemaker/archive/2011/07/11/introducing-the-webdatagrid-webhierarchicaldatagrid-cheat-sheet.aspx
Hope this helps.
