Prevent parent node check from checking/inchecking child nodes

I have EnableAutoChecking on. This is so if they uncheck a parent then all the child nodes are unchecked.

However, if there are several child nodes and I uncheck one of them, then the parent clears.  What I want to prevent is the child node from affecting the parent node.

So, check parent, all children get checked, uncheck parent, all children are unchecked. Check child, leave parent alone.
