I am using UltraWebGrid of Infragistics 2008. I upgrade NA 2008 v.1 to NA 2011 v.1 in my application not with version utility but manually. I remove all of the references of NA 2008 from application and assemblies from GAC. I remove all of the things from licence file. i upgrade the web.config file.
But still getting the issue regarding UltraWebGrid. The errors are as follows:
The type 'Infragistics.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.UltraWebGrid' is defined in an assembly that is not referenced. You must add a reference to assembly 'Infragistics35.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.v8.1, Version=8.1.20081.1000, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7dd5c3163f2cd0cb'.
and
Cannot implicitly convert type 'Infragistics.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.UltraWebGrid [c:\WINDOWS\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Infragistics35.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.v11.1\11.1.20111.1006__7dd5c3163f2cd0cb\Infragistics35.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.v11.1.dll]' to 'Infragistics.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.UltraWebGrid []'
Please help me if anyone has found the solution.

Thank you for the details. The error message confirms that there is such an Infragistics35.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.v8.1 reference somewhere in your application.
Places to check include:
· The bin directory of your website
· Elsewhere in the web.config file
· Any other web.config files elsewhere in the
· Any Register directives on your .aspx, .ascx, and .master pages
· The licenses.licx file (if it exists and has any content, you can safely clear out any NetAdvantage assemblies from the file - but don't delete the file)
· Any projects that your project references.

There is another issue, when i upgrade the Infragistics 2008 v.1 to infragistics 2011 v.1 then it runs fine but when i publish my website and place it to the server then the Infragistics webDataInput assembly not found exception occur. What is the issue here, i am not using the Infragistics WebDataInput in my application.

Webdatainput assembly is for WebImageButton. Are you refering this control any where in your project?

I have checked all the things hundered times. UltraWebToolbar.v8.1 could not load error now?
What the hell is this? Should I left using anymore the Infragistics and try another one? There is no any reference. no any control of version 2008.1 nor even one assembly in the GAC of the server. I even exclude the UltraWebToolbar 2011.1 from my project. But still the same exception....
If there is no any more solution then.............................
