Hello,
As per the current online documentation (http://help.infragistics.com/NetAdvantage/ASPNET/2011.1/CLR4.0/?page=WebUpload_Known_Issues.html), the WebUpload control currently has the following known issue:
4. When you want to upload files and the browser displays a pop-window to select items from your local drives, you are able to select only one file at a time.
Are there any current plans to enhance the control to eliminate this issue (i.e. be able to select multiple files at the same time from the pop-window)? If so, is there a rough timeline for when that might become available?
(Our client would to be able to select multiple files from the same folder without having to re-open the file selection dialog each time.)
Thanks!
Jamie
Hi Silvio,
This functionality will be released as part of Ignite UI and NetAdvantage for ASP.NET 13.1 which are expected to be released in the next couple of weeks.
Unfortunately there is no workaround for this.Best regards,Martin PavlovInfragistics, Inc.
It seems as it is not resolved yet. Injecting multiple="multiple" in file-input-control will allow to select more than one file, is there a workaround to make this control work with a multiple selection?
I already have version 12.1 and the problem persist.
Do you know when this is going to be resolve?
Hi Jamie,
It will be implemented - I suppose we can includ it for 12.1.
The main limitation here is the support for multiple file selection in different browsers for input type="file" - for instance IE9 or lower versions does not support multiple files selections in browse dialog.
Thanks,

Hey Alex,
We are going to need multiple-file-upload capabilities within the next few weeks. Do you have an update on how FR13561 is doing? Does it seem like it will make it into 2011 v2? If so, do you have a rough time frame for when 2011 v2 will be released?
