Hi,
I have implemented Automatic load on demand by refering a sample example from Infragistics online sample website. However when i am expanding couple of rows three to four times after that it is not collapsing. For example take a scenario Expand and collape first 5-6 rows couple of times and after that keep all the rows in expand mode than try to collapse the rows starting from first row, it won't collapse. The same problem i found in Infragistics sample website also. http://samples.infragistics.com/aspnet/Samples/WebHierarchicalDataGrid/Performance/LoadOnDemand/Default.aspx?cn=hierarchical-data-grid&sid=b97e3a58-a6c2-4327-b289-de68335559f4
Please look into this issue.
Thanks,
Mits
Hi Mits,
I have created a support case for you to further address this topic. I will send you future updates on the support case.
Hi Troy,
I am using the same code and same browser which you are using however still i am getting the same problem. Even i can see the same problem in infragistics sample also. Please follow the below steps on this page http://samples.infragistics.com/aspnet/Samples/WebHierarchicalDataGrid/Performance/LoadOnDemand/Default.aspx?cn=hierarchical-data-grid&sid=b97e3a58-a6c2-4327-b289-de68335559f4
- Expand and collpase only first row six times. After that keep the first row in collapse mode
- Now expand and collapse the second row 3-4 times. After that keep the second in collapse mode
- Now again expand the first row and try to collapse it. It won't collapse.
Hi mits281,
I have created an isolated sample that I used to test the expanding and collapsing of the rows. Here I am unable to reproduce the issue following your steps to reproduce and testing in IE8.
I have attached the sample to this forum thread for you. Let me know if you see any differences in this demo compared to your application that result in reproducing the issue.
If you have any additional questions, let me know.
Thanks for prompty reply. I am using IE8 browser. I have find in a infragistics sample website that this problem is not coming continuously but its rarely. If possible can you please create a sample page on your side and test because in my page its like a continuous problem.
Can you tell me which browser you are seeing this behavior? I have tested using IE8 and IE9 and have not been able to reproduce the behavior you are reporting. Please let me know how I can be of further assistance regarding this matter.
