CellClickHandler event firing in IE6 but not in IE8

I have an Ultrawebgrid column with checkbox control. I want that the Client side event CellClickHandler will be firing when the checkbox is checked or unchecked. This is working properly with Internet Explorer v.6.0 but with Internet Explorer v.8.0 the event is not firing.

Need urgent help.
