Can stored procs be used as WebHierachicalData source? If can, could you point me to any examples?
My dev environment uses C#, VS2010, Asp.net... Oracle...

It has been a while since your post, however in case you still need assistance I would be glad to help.
The WebHierarchicalDataSource supports SqlDataSources which can be populated using stored procedures therefore the functionality you are looking for is available.
