Text overlapping in IE when editing ultra web grid

Hello

I'm having a weird problem with Internet Explorer when entering data into a ultra web grid: If there is already text in the cell and i try to enter text on top of it, the text overlaps (it does not erase the previous content), when i finish editing the final text is indeed the last entered, but it's very annoying to see that text overlapping when editing, we can barely see what we are entering.

I'm using Net Advantage 2010.2

    I found out that the real issue was a conflict with our own CSS stylesheet. we had a property for all inputs of "background-color:Transparent;" which was making the underlying previous value show at the same time as we edited the field, making the text overlap into one another.
