I have been trying to install NetAdvantage_ASPNET_20083_CLR20 on WindowsXP SP3 and each time it rolls back and display the message Fatal Error "Installation ended prematurely because of an error". This happened at the last moment when it looks like the installation is about to complete. I saw this for Vista, but not XO anywhere in the forums. I did do a logfile output, but it doesnt seem to let me attach it, its compressed with WinZip, but its still too big.
I have VS 2008, WinXP SP3

Is there some documentation on what you need enable for ASP.net installation? I need some help here, if I cant even get it installed I wasted thousands of dollars!!!

Okay, well I tried to reinstall the IIS, but it didn't work. I tried to install CLR20 and CLR35, but both failed with the same error I posted. This seems to happen when its in rollback and registering components, about 26 seconds left and then bomb errors out. You guys need to help out here. Your installer is looking for something and doesn't seem to be handling the error correctly. Look I have to get this working, I am developing some ASP pages and I need these controls. We have been using your WPF and WindowForms controls with no problem and great support. Come on Infragistics please help us out here and make this forum useful to all!! I see to many unanswered posts!!

BTW - I tried to install after IIS7 install and it still failed.
