I've adapted some earlier form code for a client side search using the latest 2010.1 code.
The tree correctly selects the appropriate node, but does not scroll that node into view.
How can I scroll the selected node into focus?
Best regards,
Paul
I need to do a similar thing, but I really want to do this from the server side. I am converting a ultrawebtree to a webdatatree and need to have an equivilent command for:
wdtDept.ScrollNodeIntoView(findNode)
where findNode is the node located within the tree.
I would appreciate any help on this...
Thanks,
Joel WZ
The solution above works only for a maximised screen. When I questioned this, I got this response (which also doesn't fully work).

Hello Paul,
After some research, this issue has been determined to be a new feature request. But I also have a workaround you can use in the meantime.
The workaround is to use
node._element.scrollIntoView(tree);
I have attached a simple sample using this method. Please note this sample only searches for root nodes in the tree.

You can scroll the selected node into focus by calling the scrollIntoView javascript function for the element of the node:
tree.get_selectedNodes()[0].get_element().scrollIntoView();
