When I create click 'Create New Library' and either choose a preset or a blank library, the 'Loading Canvases' dialogue appears, gets to 38% (WebImageViewer) and hangs there or freezes indefinitely.
I have restarted and reinstalled to no avail...any ideas?
I am using Windows 7 Enterprise (64-bit), Intel Quad 2.5, 4 GB RAM,
***** Edit - 4 hours later - I found that if I remove Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions 1.0 then I am able to create new libraries, but I lost all of the Aikido controls...
***** Edit - Next day - I installed on different machine with Windows 7 Enterprise (32-bit), 2 GB RAM. Still doesn't work. With or without AJAX Extensions. Leaving me to assume that Appstylist will not function with Windows 7.
Hi,
I'm really out of ideas. Only the thing that you could do is to upgrade to latest service release. You can find it on our website = >My Keys & Downloads => NET Advantage (tab) choose your product from the list, then you should see box named "service releases", just download the latest one and upgrade your toolset.
Hope this helps.
I did that and installed it. It was actually a repair since I had previously installed it. Still freezes. Also tried renaming the config file that I created earlier this morning so AppStylist would used ajax 1.0 again, still freezes
Hello,
You could download the ajax extensions 1.0 from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=ca9d90fa-e8c9-42e3-aa19-08e2c027f5d6&displaylang=en
Can you do that please.
I do have ajax 1.0 installed. The first time I tried running AppStylist I did not have it installed and got the exception shown in the blog link. I also created the config file as instructed in the link, no change in behavior, still freezes at 0% Loading Canvas
Hello All,
Thanks for the information. I have did tests with 9.2 , 10.1 and 10.2 versions as I followed the steps outlined above. You could see the result here as download the movie.
Do you have installed on those machines Ajax Extensions 1.0 ?
