Due to the way that our server is managed for security reasons, we are unable to install anything to the wwwroot directory. We didnt know this until we were ready to install to the server. We need help setting our infragistics directory structure for the development pc and IIS server. If possible we would like for them to be the same for simplicity and so that we dont have to do any modification when we install to the server every time we have an update.
We tried the following on the pc, but the application could not find the gif files on the pc.
In our Visual Studio solution explorer, we created a folded called Harvest to put all of our *.css files in.
In our Visual Studio solution explorer, we created a folder called Harvest/images to put all of our ing_*.gif files in.
We created a virtual directory on the server. called AppStyles and put the Harvest directory under it.
We put the images directory on the server under the AppStyles/Harvest directory.
We pointed to the directory on the server like so:
<infragistics.web enableAppStyling="true" styleSetName="Harvest" styleSetPath="/AppStyles"/>
