Where are the actual setting stored for the controls.

I am new to the appstylist.  I am wondering were the setting are stored. 

For instance when you are in appstylist and you navigate to a child(control, PagerArea, Edit, etc) of webgrid you can set a bunch of properties and view the css of what you set or modify the css directly.  These are stored in css cl***and I understand that.  But If you click on webgrid itself and change the progress indicator nothing happens, I don't see the changes in the application.  So I was wondering where its stored?  Is it in a css class?  I have the same problem with Canvas options, whenever I set them through Appsylist they never change in the application.  All other settings (which are set through appsylist and are in css files ) do show change when I modify them.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello,

    Any changes that you make to the styles are saved in the css cl***
    The canvas options are only changing the view of the control so certain
    styles can be seen. These options are not being saved.
