Hi,
In de past im work with Internet Explorer 6 when change to Internet Explorer 2007 i had problems with Infragistics control.
Internet Explorer 8 was released too close to the release of NetAdvantage for Web Client 2009 Volume 1 for us to perform all of the tests we need to claim compatibility with this browser. We plan on providing IE 8 compatibility in a future hot fix of NetAdvantage for Web Client 2009 Volume 1. Rumen mentions more information about this in the following post:http://forums.infragistics.com/forums/p/23289/85336.aspx#85336
I recommend starting with an upgrade to our 2009 Volume 1 release, because we are currently updating this version with any fixes we identify as needed for IE 8 compatibility.
Any timing on when said hotfix might be released? Not asking you to commit to anything, maybe just a 'ballpark' figure if you have one. We are set to release a service pack for our app at the end of May/early June, and the PM wants to know if we can claim IE8 compatibility for the press release.
Any info is much appreciated!
Hello Scott,
We are in the middle of testing our 9.1 release with IE 8 and our monthly services releases (hotfixes) will include fixes for any issues we found internally during that month or those reported by our customers.
At this time we are testing UltraWebGrid, WebDialogWindow, WebTab, WebDataGrid and WebCombo, WebTree, WebMenu are in the pipeline. So, by June service release we are anticipating to have completed our testing against these controls.
If you move to IE 8 and run into any issues, please let our support know right away.
