Client Side CommandArgument

Is there a way to get access to the CommandArgument field of the button on client side. I saw a post from back in 2006 that said this was comming in the next version but I dont see that option and its 2 years later.

If anyone knows how to access it that would be great. I would like to be able to read it and set it.

    Hi Jerel,

    The CommandArgument and Name are pure "server" features and they are not used on client. Unfortunately there is no option to access or modify them by javascript.
