I have VS 2022 and VS 2019 on my workstation... I downloaded Platform Installer 2021.1 and run installation process while checked Version Utility and VS Extention..
In VS 2019 in the extention menu I can see Version Utility 2021.1
But in VS 2022 Extension menu does not have Infragistics, although Toolbox has new WebForms controls ..
How can I add Version Utility 2021.1 to VS 2022, so I can upgrade controls on the WEB FORM part of the entire project.
Thanks.
Hello, Thank you for contacting Infragistics Developer Support. At this point, I could say that we will be officially beginning support for Visual Studio 2022 with our 21.2 release, which is set to come out in a couple of weeks. I would expect that the installer for 2021.2 should have an option to install the Visual Studio Extension for 2022 there. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns on this matter. Sincerely, Teodosia Hristodorova Associate Software Developer
I just tried installing the new 2021.2 release and I am still not seeing Visual Studio 2022 in the version utility nor in the Visual Studio extension installer. Is Visual Studio 2022 supposed to be supported with release 2021.2?
Hello,
At this point I could say that we are working on it and it is expected to be included into the next release.
Let me know if I may be of any further assistance.
Sincerely,Teodosia HristodorovaSoftware Developer
Any update on the VS2022 Extension availability? We are about to renew our subscriptions, but we will not do bevore VS2022 is avalible. If it last longer we have to change the toolset to a competitor
Any update on the VS2022 Extension availability? Also, can I add the control manually if needed? It's inconvenient if I have to do it that way but I guess if I have to then I have to.
According to the published Service Release Schedule, we are expecting a new SR on March 18, 2022, and at this point what I could say is that our developers are working on the Version Utility and Visual Studio Add-ins in order to deliver it as soon as possible.
Let me know if I may be of any further assistance.Sincerely,Teodosia HristodorovaSoftware Developer
Hi Teodosia,
When is the estimated release date for 202.2 SR1? BTW, you have an excellent name. Holding off using VS2022 until Infragistics formally supports it.
