Our Application (Web Application) is developing using ASP.NET and few components(Web Tables,Grid Tables) are developed using 3rd Party Infragistics tool.
The components that are developed using 3rd party tool are not recoginized by QTP 10.Came to know that Test Advantage need to be installed. In infragistics site i see that 'Test Advantage' is for windows forms?
Will Test Advantage work for WEB Form Components. If 'YES' are there any limitations? and What version of Test Advantage need to be installed??
There is currently no support, or planned support at this time for the UI automation testing of our NetAdvantage ASP.NET controls via an UI automation testing software package such as QTP, until such time as a viable extensibility kit is developed by the provider of that software package. At this time, while QTP has an extensibility kit for ASP.NET controls, we have determined that it was insufficient to develop a viable product of sufficient quality for our customers.

Am automating .NET Windows forms using QTP 11 with Test advantage Add-in(Ver 10.3CLR2.0). I have a Tab where i need to navigate and validate the content of the page which looks web based. When I use object spy, It identifying as Winobject(regexpwndclass = Internet Explorer_Server).
Can you please tell me is there any way i can identify the objects correctly.
Tool : QTP 11
OS : Windows 7 64Bit

The Winobject(regexpwndclass = Internet Explorer_Server) object isn't from NetAdvantage for Windows Forms so TestAdvantage has no impact on identifying this object. QTP is providing record and replay functionality for this so if you need help with identifying this object you should contact HP support.
