Hi, Infragistics team : I am Javier Carreño from Bogota, Colombia. I am designing a report with page header, body and report footer sections. All works fine, except for an unexpected page-break beginning report footer section... Is possible avoid this page-break ? I need my report rendering on the fewest number of pages possible... Thanks in advance, Javier Carreño
i have the same issue. Any advance on this?
Hello Javier,
I am just checking your progress on the issue. Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any further questions on the matter.
I am sorry for the late replay. I have been researching your issue. The report footer should be visible on the last page of the report. The Page Footer should appear on every page of the report except the page that contains the report footer. Here is a link to our documentation, where you can find more information about this functionality: http://help.infragistics.com/Help/NetAdvantage/Reporting/2013.1/CLR4.0/html/Report_Designer_Designer_Surface_Overview.html.
Would you please check if you have set a margin property that would cause the fifth page to appear.
Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have further questions on the matter or I have misunderstood your requirements.
Gergana, Thanks a lot for your reply....
Attached to this message you will find a simple .igr test file and some printscreens of the page's report renderized... in this case I created the report, added a datasource with a sql select from users table, drag&drop the datasource to the reports body, added a label to the page footer, added other label to the reports footer and runs the report using the preview option on report designer bottom... I added some printscreens from Sample Plan Report to show the issue on a real report...
Thanks a lot again if you can help me...
Additionally, I must tell you thay I recently upgraded from NetAdvantage 2011.2 to NetAdvantage 2013.1 and the reports created with the old version were Ok until the upgrade time... Sorry for not have shared this info with you before...
I has reviewed the XML code from the .igr file and I do not found any reference to page-break before page footer or reports footer...
Cordial Saludo, Javier Carreño
Thank you for your post. I have been looking into it and I could not reproduce your issue. Would it be possible for you to send an isolated simple sample, that reproduces the issue. This way I would be able to provide you with better and more faster support.
Looking forward to your post.
