Using VB6 on Windows 7
'file format no longer supported': This message came up after we had a power cut in the office and I reloaded my project. Don't know if the two are related. The file its complaining about is SSInput1.OCX. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Ultrasuite 3 and Ultrasuite 3.02 but cant seem to stop the message coming up and the control on my form defaulting to a picturebox.
Please help!
Thanks
Ridley
Ridley,
I did a search to see if I could find other instances where this has happened and while I didn't find any specific to our retired controls, I did find some relevant issues from other third parties that may help you resolve this:
It appears that similar issues have been resolved by deleting a corrupt oca file or by reinstalling VB6.
Let me know if you have any questions with this matter.
