Occasionally, and not with every user, when a tab is clicked on the Ultrawebtab, I get errors, which I would add to the post but it seems the upload is not workable. In any case, they are pop-ups that say 'Internet Explorer has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem...', followed by 'Internet Explorer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly...' - and then it gives debug and close program options.
I use the Ultrawebtab version 11.1.1.20111.2020 on Win7 with IIS6, I believe.
Thank you for your help.
Hi tdonley,
I'm glad to hear that.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
Hi Nikolay,
The issue has been resolved. It seems when Microsoft did their latest IE9 upgrade, it made this site toxic:
http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false
so it would crash the moment a user left the page. it was an unused reference from an earlier version, so i commented it out.
bad, bad Microsoft. IE9 has been a thorn in my side since it erupted.
In order to be able to investigate this issue, I would need a small isolated sample, demonstrating the described behavior. Thank you.
