HI,
I have a report with a header, detail and footer. There are multiple columns in the detail section each with borders so that vertical lines show for the border of each column.
My problem is that the vertical lines extend only as far as the detail section of the report. Is there any way to extend (or draw) vertical lines from the header to the footer regardless of the lengthof the detail section.

Sorry about the delay in responding. It took a while to find time to test out Miguel's suggestion of a background image.
This solution works fine and the form now prints as required.
However, as a solution it is fiddly work and time consuming to generate the image and match its vertical lines to the data column boundaries.
A more dynamic and designer-friendly method would be a good inclusion on the wish list of features.
Thanks for your assistance and a workable solution.
Let me know if you have any further questions on this matter.
Unfortunately the current version doesn't provide a generic Line or Vertical Line control for you to draw, just Horizontal Line for now. If the header and footer sections have a fixed height you may use an image to continue the detail section lines; I know its not the best solution but you may use it as a workaround to get you going and have the same visual effect..
Regards,
Miguel.
Hi bobrog,
How are you generating the columns in your report? Are you using the Table control provided by Infragistics Reporting?
Currently controls placed in a report can only be displayed within the section they are placed in. They will be cutoff if they try to extend past their designated section.
