UltraWebGrid is working in IE9 but not in IE8

i am using UltraWebGrid its version is Infragistics4.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.v10.3, Version=10.3.20103.2120

in that i am using two bands, one is for product and another is for its attribute.

in both band there is cell for stock which is editable.

so stock editing for product working in both (IE8 and IE9)

but stock editing for attribute is not working in IE9

plz reply ASAP

Hi hitesh_addon,

I investigated this scenario but am so far unable to replicate the behavior using version 10.3.20103.2120. In your bands, are you refering to stock a single cell or a column (i.e. is a column or only a single cell editable)? Some sample code illustrating the issue would be appreciated greatly as it would help me determine what setting might be causing the matter.

in IE9 it looks like this :

in IE9 we can edit the stock of attibutes.

in IE8 it looks like this :

in IE8 we can not change the value of the stock of attibutes.

and attribute table is also shrinks.

In IE7 and IE9 it works properly but not in IE8.

now i think you can understand my problem.

Hi Petar,

I also have same issue with the 2nd band of UltrawebGrid 11.1 version in IE8. In IE7 it is working fine.

Thank you for your reply.

I am still unable to reproduce the scenario. A sample illustrating the issue would be greatly appreciated. If in your case the percentages are converted into pixels you may want to explore the possibility of manually calculating the column widths on the client if the rendered offsetwidth of a child band's column is say 25 pixels instead of 25% (which as you say happens for you in IE8).

i found that in that second band there is given width in percentage to each column so in IE7 and IE9 it consider as percentage and in IE8 it converts into pixels.
