In short, the WebGrid has been retired as of 11.2 and will not be updated for compatibility with future IE releases. Please read the blog post linked above for more information. It is suggested that the WebDataGrid or the WebHierarchicalDataGrid be used instead of the WebGrid.
Hello Giridhar,
I received the following reply from product management:
Each volume release (ex. 11.1) has service releases for 1 year, and is supported for 3 years.
For more information, please visit the product lifecycle page.
For more information on classic controls (retired), please read this blog post.

Hi,
I was facing the issue with Row selection in IE9 and have decided to migrate to the latest version 11.1. I wanted to know if this version will support any of the future IE releases.
With Regards,
Giridhar JG.
Hello Anuj,
ASP.NET controls of versions 10.1 - 10.3 are compatible with IE9 through service releases. Version 11.1 (and future versions) are compatible since the RTM. Versions before 10.1 are not compatible with IE9.
To support IE9, I would recommend upgrading your project to a newer version of NetAdvantage.
