I am working on web based project in which we have used infragistics v8.1, Previously all user of this application used it on IE8 or earlier versions of IE. Some user start using application on IE 9. On IE 9 the web menu control stops its working. What should i do for it?

IE9 is supported in volumes 10.1 and up. In volumes 10.1 - 10.3, this is done through service releases. In volume 11.1, it is supported in the RTM.
I would recommend upgrading your project to a newer version of Infragistics controls that has support for IE9. I would also recommend upgrading to WebDataMenu.

It means you are saying that i have to purchase latest version of infragistics and then i have to change my all code with respect to new version.
If it is, then i will tell you that my application is not a small bloging application, Its very big and contain hundreds of pages.
Yes, that is mostly correct. IE9 is not supported in 8.1, so a newer version should be used. It doesn't have to be the latest, but it has to be at least a 10.1 service release.
You can upgrade to a newer version using the upgrade utility, which means upgrading to a newer version is not a manual process. Also, you can continue to use WebMenu, as it should be included in the product (InfragisticsX.WebUI.UltraWebNavigator assembly, where X is your CLR version). So no code change would be required there.
