I currently have a client who is using a very large and complex ASP.NET web application filled with UltraWebgrids throughout the application. The client is insisting they use IE 9 but the grids do not work properly in IE 9. Now I know these controls are 3-4 years old and I should upgrade to the new controls but this will not only cost money (not a problem) but TIME to convert all of the thousands of lines of javascript written to make these webgrids work properly. I was hoping someone would have a suggestion on some tweaks to get the grid working in IE 9. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi Peter,
It has been some time since your post, however in case you are still having issues I would be glad to help.
Version 5.2 is quite outdated and I would strongly suggest that you migrate to a newer version. In order for me to be able to provide any feedback I would need to know more about your page's configuration and prefferably see the markup.
Please note, however, that the UltraWebGrid control is now outdated and as of .NetAdvantage 2011 Volume 2 is no longer included in our product package. I would suggest that you consider switching to the WebDataGrid/WebHieararchicalDataGrid. More information regarding these controls is available at:
http://help.infragistics.com/NetAdvantage/ASPNET/2011.2/CLR4.0/?page=Web_WebDataGrid_WebDataGrid.html
Additional samples demonstrating the features of these grids can be found at:http://samples.infragistics.com/aspnet/
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
