Drop fields from a pivotGrid to a Drag & Drop area

I have a Drag and Drop area control and a pivotGrid.

Can I drag a field existing on the filter area (or rows, columns) from pivotGrids and drop it on the Drag and drop area?

My actual need is to have a global filtering area where I can drop filters from one or more pivot tables existing on my dashboard, Then I want by filtering on these fields to filter data existing on the pivotGrids existing on my dashboard.

Another idea i had is to use a pivotGrid as a filtering area, with only the filter area visible. There I can drag and drop but the need is how to filter all other existing pivotGrids on my dashboard.

    Hello again, Dimitris,

    Unfortunately this functionality cannot be achieved in the current versions of the PivotGrid. I've tried to do it but there are issues with the control that prevent the application from working correctly. The problems are logged in our system and will be addressed in the future. Hopefully the fix will be included in our 11.2 release or maybe sooner with one of the Service Releases for the 11.1. When that is done I will update this post with a sample that shows how to do it.
