Is it possible to populate a WebDropDown with an XML file? I've used the dataset gui/wizard and also tried code behind but to no avail. The gui and code behind works fine with WebDataGrid and WebDataMenu controls.

The WebDropDown cannot be populated with an XML file directly (note that a flat data should be used with that control). However you could manually parse an XML file and use the data to populate your drop down.
