I noticed that the TreeMap does not natively support doubleClick event.
There is a windows double ClickEvent (System.Windows.Input.MouseButtonEventArgs) that I could use. However, there appears to be no connection back to the selected node, and I could not find a HitTest type API on the treeMap control that would return the selected node.
IsHitTest appears to return a handle to the UserControl.
Any ideas how I use the double click event to identify the selected node.

Currently we have some problems with the mouse events over a node - the events are fired for the parent node too. We are workig to fix this problem and we hope it will be available for the next service release. A double click event will be added for the wpf version.
Actually, this does not work.
The problem with this is that every node now gets the double click event, not just the node that was double clicked on. In the code, I was trying something that was similar to the drilldown example.

You may set a NodeStyle to the node binder like the following

is the handler for the mouse double click event.
