UltraWebNavigator IE8 64bit

Namespace="Infragistics.WebUI.UltraWebNavigator" Assembly="Infragistics2.WebUI.UltraWebNavigator.v10.1, Version=10.1.20101.1011, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7dd5c3163f2cd0cb"

Hi Guys,

Is the UltraWebNavigator still supported? Couldn't fnd a forum for it.

The menu looks like this

MENU_A   MENU B

MENU_B has sub menu items so when you moveover it the 2 sub items should pop up.

When you move the mouse over the MENU_B nothing happens.

IE VERSION 8.0.7600.16385
no updates
256 bit

1. It appears that the ultrawebnavigator does not work in Opera 10.x OR more importantly IE8 on 64bit OS. is this a known issue?

2. Where's the browser compability info, the link on http://es.infragistics.com/support/supported-environments.aspx fails with an error

thanks

    Yes, we support it.  UltraWebNavigator contains two controls:  WebMenu and WebTree.  I have moved your question to the WebMenu control forum.

    While we continue to support WebMenu, if you are doing new development with version 10.1 we would strongly encourage you to use the new WebDataMenu control from our Aikido Framework.  I think you'll find it has most of the same features, and it has been designed with future Web standards and technologies in mind.

    Can you please check that your WebMenu's WebMenuStyle property has been set to WebStandard (to display a sub-menu on hover) rather than WinClient (to display a sub-menu on click)?

    Also, please check that the BrowserTarget is set to UpLevel.  If it is set to Auto, please try changing it to UpLevel explicitly.

    Our Supported Environments page is the correct place to go to find browser compatibility.  If the error on that page persists, please let us know on our Web Sites forum what error message you are receiving and if it is from the same IE 8 64-bit OS browser or a different browser.

    ASP.NET Classic controls in 2010 Volume 1 (which includes WebMenu) support IE 8 on Windows operating systems; Opera is not a supported browser for ASP.NET Classic controls.
